MORE ABOUT ME AND MY PAST:
I grew up in a small town in Ohio, and then decided to follow in my father's footsteps and joined the Air Force. So at age 20 I left my very small 2 stoplight town and went off to Basic Training in San Antonio. From there I went to training school in Denver, Colorado and then got stationed at Nellis AFB. Wow that was interesting going from Ohio to Las Vegas, Nevada. I spent my time in the Air Force as an F-16 Avionics Electrician and Fuel System specialist. My time in the service was incredible, even earning several awards.
After my Air Force career, I started college for Business Management and took a job as a waitress for Pizza Hut while I determined my life's future. Well that job with Pizza Hut had a mind of it's own. My part time job, then become my career. I was able to move up quickly and held pretty much every position that exists in the restaurant. My manager at the time was the sweetest man alive. I owe much of my style of management to Frank, bad knees and all he was a great teacher and a great man. I hated leaving Frank as a took a position as an Assistant Manager of a new Pizza Hut that we were opening in the ever growing Las Vegas. I was there for about 9 months and then took over a terribly failing restaurant. After turning that around, becoming a Training Manager and building an incredible team, I took a position with Pizza Hut that moved me closer to home. The company moved me to Dayton, Ohio where I was an Operations Specialist that covered an area from Columbus Ohio to Indianapolis Indiana. During this time period I was able to meet some incredible people. After a few years of doing that, I moved to Indianapolis and was able to take a position of an Area Manager handling the East side of Indianapolis and its suburbs.
In January of 2004, my son was born. Talk about life changing. December of 2004, Pizza Hut Corporate announced they were selling the Indianapolis Market to a Franchise. I took this time to leave the company, go back to college and to finish my degree. In that time period though, I also met the love of my life. My husband and I met in February 2005 and were engaged by July, married the following July. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. While I was finishing my degree, I took a part time job through Manpower with BF Goodrich in Woodburn, IN. Now some background on this, my husband worked there, my dad retired from there and my brother and sister both worked there at some point too. September of 2008 I gave birth to a boy and girl twins. They were 7-8 weeks early and it was very hard on us, but they both are doing absolutely wonderful now.
When I went back to work, I was hired as an Industrial Engineer for BF Goodrich. I loved that job. Then I was promoted to the Training Manager for the facility. I had the best team anyone could ever ask for. That was my favorite job that I had ever had, and my team is what made it so special. But just as you get complacent, God has a way of shaking things up. In November of 2013 he did just that.
Now years later, we are in a much better place. We love Brownsburg, love our jobs and our history and we love each other like never before. This blog with be about Real Estate but I thought it was important for each of you to know and understand the experiences that I have had that allows me and drives me to help others. I have a wonderful family, and I could not be happier in my life.
So that now brings me to my career in Real Estate. My slogan is "Real Estate for Your Life" and I focus on the YOUR. Any transaction I do, it's about my client, and what they are going through. I will be there every step of the way.
